The Story Shaman claims no cultural ownership of the practice of Shamanism and honours the traditional practitioners of the path. The term “Shaman” is used here as an archetype: a bridge through which stories, ideas, and futures come into form.

The Story Shaman acknowledges the traditional owners of the lands on which we live and work, the Bunurong and Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation, and pays respect to Elders past and present. Always Was. Always Will Be.

The Story Shaman also stands proudly with LGBTQIA+ communities. This is a space to celebrate stories of queer joy, resistance, and radical inclusion. No exceptions.
